Driving Directions
The following sets of directions explain how to get to ZYGO by car. Refer to the travel map farther down on this page....from Points West
- Take Route 84 to 691 East (becomes Route 66 East). Proceed on Route 66.
- At the first traffic light, turn right onto Route 147.
- Follow route 147 for 2+ miles to the stop sign, then turn left onto Main Street.
- At the first stop sign, turn right onto Strickland Road; follow it to the end.
- At the end of Strickland Road, turn right onto Cherry Hill Road.
- Take the first left onto Laurel Brook Road.
- Drive approximately 1 mile on Laurel Brook Road.
- Turn left into ZYGO's driveway.
- Take Route 95 North to New Haven, then take Route 91 North
- Take exit 15 (Route 68 - Durham/Yalesville)
- At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Route 68 Eastbound.
- Continue on Route 68 for 2 miles; turn left onto Route 157.
- Continue on Route 157 for 1.8 miles to the stop sign; turn left onto Route 147.
- At the first stop sign, turn right onto Strickland Road; follow it to the end.
- At the end of Strickland Road, turn right onto Cherry Hill Road.
- Take the first left onto Laurel Brook Road.
- Drive approximately 1 mile on Laurel Brook Road.
- Turn left into ZYGO's driveway.
- Take Route 95 South to Old Saybrook, then take exit 69 (Route 9 North)
- Continue on Route 9 for 25 miles, then take exit 11 (Route 155 - Randolph Road)
- At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Randolph Road, drive 2 miles.
- At the intersection of Route 17, turn left onto Route 17 (Southbound).
- Continue on Route 17 for 2+ miles.
- After passing through one traffic light, take the next right onto Brush Hill Road.
- Take the second left onto Anderson Road (Jarvis Mfg. at corner)
- Anderson Road soon becomes Laurel Brook Road; ZYGO's driveway is a quarter mile down on the right.
- Take Route 91 South.
- Take exit 22S (left exit) onto Route 9 South.
- Proceed on Route 9 South and take exit 13 (Route 17).
- At end of exit 13 connector, turn left onto Route 17 South.
- Continue on Route 17 South through Middletown.
- After passing through five sets of traffic lights, not counting blinking ones, (approx. 3 miles) turn right onto Brush Hill Road.
(If you pass by Dooley's Pond on left, you've gone too far.)
- Take the second left onto Anderson Road (Jarvis Mfg. at corner)
- Anderson Road soon becomes Laurel Brook Road; ZYGO's driveway is a quarter mile down on the right.
