Expanded Wavelength Capabilities

GPI™ 3390 nm Interferometer
Interferometric optical testing
from deep ultraviolet to far infrared.

Optical applications are broad and varied. Testing at design wavelength is critical for final alignment and system qualification. Lithographic, DVD, and Infrared imaging lenses all require testing at design wavelength and represent broadly-varying wavelength requirements.

ZYGO, long recognized as the world leader in interferometric testing, has designed and built many specially-equipped interferometer systems, including those meeting the most demanding requirements, from the deep ultraviolet to the far infrared.

The following table lists the various wavelengths that are currently available for ZYGO interferometers.

For more information about these systems, or if you need to test at a wavelength other than those shown below, please contact your local ZYGO sales representative for more information.

  Wavelength    Application
248 nm     General UV lens system testing, and higher precision testing needs.
363 nm     General UV lens system testing, and higher precision testing needs.
405 nm     Testing lenses used in DVD optical storage and audio-visual devices.
542 nm     General testing applications, including optical surfaces, lenses, prisms, corner cubes, homogeneity, and more.
1053 nm     Testing in laser fusion research.
1064 nm     Laser rod testing, military imaging systems testing, general near IR optical testing needs.
1319 nm     General near IR optical testing needs.
1550 nm     Telecommunications Optics Testing.
3.39 μm     General IR Optical System Testing.
10.6 µm     IR Optical System Testing, Rough Surface Testing.
