ZYGO provides CNC glass machining services for a variety of materials including glass, fused silica, and low expansion ceramics such as Zerodur and CLEARCERAM®, as well as exotic materials such as sapphire and water clear zinc sulfide.

Our proprietary glass machining techniques allow us to machine complex geometries to exacting dimensional and angular tolerances. These glass machining capabilities are also employed to reduce the weight of large and heavy optics (lightweighting).

Dimensional tolerances are confirmed using the latest metrology, including interferometry, collimators and CMM.
